An Overview of Automatic Reminders and Notifications

We send reminders for many different functions in our system. Some are SMS (text), some are email, and some send both. 

To customize notification settings for a student or parent, you have the option to edit them under their individual preferences.

Note: You have the option to synchronize your Google Calendar with teacher, student, and parent accounts. This will allow Google Cal to automatically sync with any external mail program on any device.

Important notifications that are sent out:
    • New student registration:
      • Welcome email
      • Username and password
     
    • Learning:
      • Practice asigned
      • Daily reminder to practice:
    • Chat:
      • Receive an alert for a new chat message along with a convenient link to join the chat conversation

    • Scheduling:
      • Newly scheduled lesson/group/class
      • 48-hour lesson reminder
      • Cancelled lesson/group/class
      • Banked lesson
      • No-show alert

 

 

    • Teacher alerts:
      • Student cancels lesson
      • Weekly schedule email
      • Daily schedule email 

    • School alert (email):
      • Student no-show alert
