Gamification Points

Setting Up and Assigning Points

Points are the starting point to our Gamification.  

From the School login go to Menu<Learning<Points.

They dictate the leaderboard stats and can also dictate what "Badges" are assigned.  Points are assigned automatically from the system or manually by an Instructor.  Each School Level login sets up the game.

Step 1:  Leaderboard View

Choose how you want the Students to view the Leaderboard.  

  1. Default shows only that individual Student Points.
  2. Teacher Only shows just that Teacher's students.
  3. ALL Students show every student in the School.

 

Step 2:  Decide what System Points you want enabled

Turn On/Off which points you want the system to track by clicking the "edit" far right of the screen.

 

There are four types of automatic/system generated points...

  1. Login (points for when a student logs in)
  2. Practice (points for practice intervals)
  3. Attendance (points for attending a lesson/class)
  4. Practice Assignment (points for marking "I'm Done")

Login: Choose how often per day to award points

 

Practice (Timer): Choose how often to reset points for Practice Timer

 

Attendance: Choose how many points for Attending a Lesson or Class

Practice Assignment: Give Points when "I'm Done" is marked

 

 

Add Parameter: Custom Point Parameters can be added that will be manually assigned by Teachers
