Connecting Google Meet to TeacherZone
Google Meet Video Calling Integration.
We now integrate unique "Meet" URL's for Online lessons.
No download is required but Google meet does offer Apps if you are interested. For a full tutorial on Google Meet please visit here!
To sync Google Meet, login as a Teacher and sync by going to your Settings and clicking to sync Google Calendar. Note: If you have previously synced, you must "un-sync" first then "re-sync".
You will then see a success message!
Congratulations you are now synced!
Once Synced Google Meet Icon will appear for ALL Lessons and Classes (just in case you need to switch an "In Person" lesson to "Online".
Here's where it appears:
Teachers and Administrators Weekly and Daily Schedules
Under Teacher's Main Dashboard and Each Student View
Teacher's Zone Learning or Student View Dashboard
In the Teacher Chat for Each Student
From Chat as a Teacher, click on “Video Calls” for a Student or Class and "Zoom" or other links along with "Google Meet" Times and Links are listed.
When Logged in as a Student
Access the Meet link for the next lesson on the dashboard
Also access in Chat under the "Video Calls" icon for a Teacher or Class
Also you can launch the "Google Meet" from a Student Weekly Schedule.
