Using the Bulk Email/SMS Feature!

Send mass email or SMS messages to your teachers, students, or parents.

Utilize our "Send Email/SMS" function to effortlessly send mass emails or SMS messages to your teachers, students, parents, or a combination of these groups (students & parents).

 

  • First, begin by navigating to the report section in the system:
    • Under reporting, we have a function titled "Send Email/SMS":  

 

  • Upon reaching the page, you can begin by selecting and adding the filters that best suit your needs, then proceed to click on the search button:

 

Note: If your school lists communication information on parent accounts only (and not for students), or if you have a combination of both, be sure to select "parents" in the members field when conducting your search.

  • Once you have the desired results from your search, you're ready to craft your email/SMS.  Press "Send Email" or "Send SMS" once you have the filtered results desired:

Note: Keep in mind that the recipient list is automatically filtered based on users who have provided an email or mobile number. If you opt for "Email," only students, parents, or teachers with an email address will be included. If you select SMS, only those with a cell/mobile number will be included in the message distribution.

 

  • There are three types of filters:
    • Basic
    • Quick
    • Scheduling

  1. Basic Filters:
    1. Member (students, parents, students and parents, teachers)
    2. Message type (email or SMS - this filters by students that have email or sms that match other filter criteria)
    3. Status (students that are active, inactive or both)
  2. Quick Filters:
    1. Teacher's name
    2. Birth month or date
    3. School name
    4. Group class name
    5. Student name
    6. Custom tags
    7. Tags (waitlist)
    8. Plan name
  3. Scheduling Filters:

Note: These filters REQUIRE a schedule start and end date be plugged in to search 

          a.  Start date on schedule/end date on schedule

          b. "Lesson On" (single date)

          c. "Day of the Week"

          d. "Private/Group"

          e. "Lesson Type"

          f.  "Lesson Frequency

Pro Tip: To reset all filters or clear them, simply use the "Filter's Applied" option and click on the "reset" button or X out of the filters.

 

  • Before you send you may hit the "preview" button to see the message: 

 

  • Once you have sent a message it will be store in the email or SMS logs
    • Click "View Log: 

  • Once in the log:
    •  Put in a date range
    • Choose email or SMS log
