TeacherZone Accounting Basics

For bookkeeping and accounting purposes, here are some basics within TeacherZone!

  1. The TeacherZone payments report allows you to easily filter and export payments based on date, whether they are from the past or for future payments. This can be done in real time, giving you flexibility and convenience.
  2. Every day, we send a Payments Report email to the main School email address. This email provides you with the current status of payments, whether they are unpaid, pending, or paid.
  3. To further assist you in tracking your payments, we also send a batch report email at the end of each day. This report details what payments were processed that day in the batch, which should match the deposits made to your bank.
  4. For added security and verification, you have access to login to the merchant gateway. This allows you to double-check all transactions and their status.

  5. If you use Quickbooks online, you can easily push your paid transactions using our Zapier integration. This provides a seamless connection between your TeacherZone Payments and Quickbooks online. For more information on Zapier, click here.
  6. For Quickbooks desktop users in the U.S., you also have the option to download a Quickbooks file directly from the U.S. merchant gateway. This allows you to easily import your payment data into Quickbooks desktop.
  7. Lastly, if you are a Tri-tech/AIMsi user, you can take advantage of our integration that allows you to push payments directly to your POS system. This streamlines the payment process and ensures accurate record-keeping. To learn more about this integration, click here.
