Here's how to allow specific payment method types (and disallow others) to be used in your school!
In your school's payment settings, you can choose to accept either credit cards or ACH as payment methods for students. Here's how to make that selection in TZ to ensure that only the desired option is displayed:
- Beneath the school admin login, click on your school's name in the top left corner:
- Next, click on "Payment/Billing Info":
- Choose the payment method you prefer to enable for use within your school, whether ACH or CC:
***Note: leaving this selection "blank" will allow for both CC and ACH options.
Click save and you're done! Dependent upon the selection here, only ACH or CC will show as selections in these places in TeacherZone:
- On the plan builder (including registration pages and widgets):
- Or on a student's account (either by adding as an admin, or when the student adds it themselves), from both the desktop and the app:

Note: this only applies to CC and ACH payment method types. Custom payment methods such as cash, check, etc, still utilize the same process. Learn more about that here.
